On Friday we had a member of the public bring in a bat that had literally landed on him whilst he was fishing nearby to Warnham LNR. The bat seemed very underweight but Tom left him overnight with a shallow dish of water and to our amazement he was still alive in the morning. When I got in on Saturday I fed the little chap a few guts of mealworms which it wasn't overly keen on and rang the Bat Hospital. Soon enough it was picked up and is now being well looked after by our friends at the Hospital. I will keep you updated on the bats progress!
