Gadwall - Warnham LNR

Sadly this Osprey was a no show today but it was probably not helped by the weather to be honest! It seems very strange that it will have moved on as it was here till dusk last night and there was no sign of it first thing this morning.

Other bits and bobs still left included the Red-crested Pochard (1st Winter Male) which has now been present for four days. I wonder how long it will hang around for, fingers crossed until spring so we can see it in its stunning summer plumage. 3 Gadwall are still mooching around but there was little else to report from around the reserve.
