A very chilly day on the reserve with no let up in the harzardous conditions. When I left the reserve last night there was about 5/6 inches of powdery snow and it wasn't at all windy. When I returned this morning is was blowing a gale and had led to beautiful snow drifts around the reserves. Lots of activity in the feeding station as you might expect with at least 19 Reed Buntings on the ground at once!
