Warnham LNR - Moth Trap

Small Brindled Beauty
Only three moths in the trap last night with 2 Common Quaker and a single Small Brindled Beauty. This is a localised species which larve feed mainly on Oak. As with several of the early season moths the female's are wingless. They can be found by searching the trunks of the foodplant at night with a torch.
