Dark-bellied Brent Goose - Southwater Quarry (Stuart Card)

Sue Cocker managed to find a Dark-bellied Brent Goose which dropped in to the Quarry today. It represents the first record of this species at Southwater Country Park complex. It spent most of the day milling around with the Canada Geese often coming out the water to preen on the bank. Stuart managed to get this brilliant picture of it after Sue alerted us to its arrival. Well done Sue!
