Cloud formation at Chesworth Farm |
Whilst walking around the Farm this morning looking at the flooding damage and prioritising what needs fixing or removing first I noticed this stunning cloud formation over Riverside Field. I have no idea what kind of clouds these are but if anyone know's I would be interested!
There was lots of activity around the Farm birdwise too with Skylark in full song as well as Great Tit, Blue Tit, Song Thrush and Blackbird all vying for territories. Hopefully it won't be long until some of the spring flowers start to show. Also of note we now have 8 Herbridean and 2 Herdwick Sheep in Tip Field, they will be on the Farm for about a month with their primary aim to nip the buds off the encroaching scrub from the extensive hedgerows.

Grey Heron Nest Cam |
Meanwhile at Warnham LNR spring is in full swing and we now have our first egg on the Grey Heron Nest Camera. It is about on time if a little early so fingers crossed the weather won't be too harsh on the female as she begins incubation. Keep your eye's peeled on the Twitter feed on the right hand side of the page for regular updates from the nest.
