A pretty quiet day on the reserve and still hoping for a fall of migrants but no luck yet! Even though Sand Martin and Swallow have been seen at Pulborough and Beddington so I don't think it will be long! Anyway news from today:
1 Little Egret, 2 GC Grebe, 26 Tufted Duck, 4 Mandarin, 2 Teal, 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Pied Wagtail, 40+ Lesser Redpoll, 30+ Siskin, 12 Reed Bunting and 1 Grey Wagtail
The moth trap is out tonight so fingers crossed for the morning if the rain holds off!
