Stock Dove

A very hot day around the reserve meant that butterflies were the order of the day all of the following were recorded: Orange-tip, Peacock, Comma, Brimstone and Red Admiral

On the bird front: 27 Tufted Duck, 1 Mandarin, 7 Teal, 1 LS Woodpecker, 2 Green Woodpecker, 17 Feral Pigeon, 3 Pied Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Common Buzzard, 4 Blackcap, 10+ Chiffchaff, 2 Little Grebe, 2 GC Grebe, 2 M Swan, 19 Greylag Geese, 1 Stock Dove, 4 Nuthatch, 4 Reed Bunting
