Bank Holiday Washout

Grey Wagtail

Cormorant
The last day of the easter activities and was pretty much a total washout though we still had a few avid egg hunters around to keep us ticking over. On the reserve a Cormorant spent most of the day on ther Tern rafts. Grey Wagtails are becoming very evident of late which bodes well for them nesting once more.

2 Roe Deer by the 1st Boardwalk and a single doe on the Wet Meadow. The poor weather brought a constant albeit slow passage of hirundines with House Martin, Sand Martin and Swallow all represented.
