Warnham LNR

Wood Mouse

Phoenix
A night of trapping on the reserve with 12 Longworth Small Mammal Traps as well as the moth trap all being out. It was a pretty poor moth for small mammals with just a single Common Shrew and two Wood Mice.

Meanwhile despite conditions looking good the moth trap also failed to produce much with just a handful of new species for the year which included: Phoenix, Brimstone, Brindled and Oak-tree Pug.

On the bird front: 4 Common Tern, 1 Cormorant, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtail, 3 Reed Warbler, 5+ Swift, 30+ House Martin
