A very hot walk around the Heath this morning produced something I have never seen before but have always wanted to find. I have searched numerous times for the very well camouflaged caterpillar of the Beautiful Yellow Underwing moth. And today I managed to find one! The Hebridean's are settling in well to being in Middle Heath and have already started to much the young birch saplings.
