Finally they have decided to emerge at Southwater Country Park and luckily enough one of our keenest volunteer recorders managed to be in the right place at the right time. Well done to Sue Cocker for finding the first Brown Hairstreak on any of sites so far in 2013!!! Hopefully the first of many though in recent years they seem to have struggled somewhat.
