Common Shrew - M. Ayling

Mike Ayling carried out his weekly bird survey on the Farm which produced the following birds:

Blackbird 3, Blue Tit 7, Carrion Crow 2, Chiffchaff 7, Goldfinch 4, Great Tit 8, Greenfinch 2, Herring Gull 4, Jackdaw 4, Magpie 4, Moorhen 1, Song Thrush 1, Wren 5, Blackcap 2, Bullfinch 2, Chaffinch 3, Dunnock 3, Great Spotted Woodpecker 2, Green Woodpecker 1, Grey Heron 1, House Sparrow 3, Jay 1, Mallard 3, Robin 5, Woodpigeon 17

Mike also found a recently deceased Common Shrew.
