Finally there has been a few winter visitors arriving in the feeding station at the Woodpecker Hide and John Wilks kindly emailed me a couple of pictures. At the moment there is only a single male Siskin and about a dozen Lesser Redpoll. There are however good numbers of Chaffinch, Greenfinch and Goldfinch still visiting. Fingers crossed it is the start of things to come and the Siskin and Redpoll numbers will start to pick up.
