This morning me and Andy attempted to tackle the problem with the Mute Swans nesting on the fishing lake by providing an artificial platform. We are hoping that they will not decide to try to nest on the fishing lake due to the obvious disturbance they will suffer. The pair has been visiting the Quarry Lake but sadly there is no reedbed for them to build a nest in so fingers crossed they will find it suitable!
