The male Sparrowhawk pictured above was causing havoc around the reserve this morning, continually putting the gulls up followed by a few visits to the feeding station putting all the passerines up too! There was also an adult Mediterranean Gull on the millpond early morning. The moth trap this morning was pretty quiet though Hebrew Character was new for the year.
That sparrowhawk looks like the one I've been after. The weather has been putting me off.
