The final stages of the new Butterfly Ride at Millpond Plantation were being carried out today with Gary our contractor coming in to grind the stumps down and level off the top surface. It is really starting to take shape now. The levelling should be finished by tomorrow, weather permitting. We also have some new arrivals coming tomorrow...keep your eyes peeled!
On the reserve: 2 Gadwall, 1 Common Tern, 30+ Swallow, 5 House Martin, 10+ Sand Martin, 7 Mandarin, 4 House Sparrow (Scarce bird at Warnham), 4 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail and tons of Orange-tips today.
