Finally some sunshine!

Today was fairly sunny around the reserve and as a result it seemed like spring not summer! Lots of activity around the dipping ponds with Broad-bodied Chasers, Blue-tailed, Azure and Large Red Damsels all busy egg-laying.

Marsh Frogs were very vocal all day, 2 Grass Snakes were seen around the boardwalks and I finally managed to do a count of the Common Spotted Orchids which totalled exactly 50! This is the most I have seen at Warnham since I have been here.
