Bug Hotel |
Another busy day around the sites today with the finishing touches being done to the Orange Route at Owlbeech Woods. Meanwhile plenty to see at Warnham: Lots of fledglings around early morning with Reed Bunting, Green Woodpecker, Woodpigeon and Reed Warbler. Also fantastic news that the Common Tern's have hatched at least two young and they can be seen well from the Tern Hide.
The infamous Bug Hotel is now nearing completion just need to fill the final two voids and attach the roofing felt and then we await some bugs to use it! Moth trap is out tonight so fingers crossed for the morning. Also heading up to Owlbeech to see if the Nightjars have returned.
