Skylark

A nice stroll around the farm this evening with Stu didn't produce any views of the Barn Owl's but we did see three singing Skylark, 2 Tufted Duck, 3 Common Buzzard, 53 Starling and a few finches. Sadly we could not find the Redstarts which had been seen by TT over the past few days.

There were a number of Chiffchaff calling from many of the hedgerow's as well as in the reedbed on the edges of Platt Pond. Hopefully the Reed Warbler's will find their way back there soon too. On the access track there were a couple of Blackcap and a single Whitethroat which will hopefully hang around to breed.
